1963-1987
On August 9th 1963.
Whitney was born in Newark New Jersey.
Music was a given in her family, real gospel in
the church.
Talent was evident when little Whitney was singing solo in front of the choir.
Her mother Cissy Houston, was also a famous gospel and she sang as a background singer.
Whitney always went with her to gigs and in the studio.
Whitney met many famous singers such as: Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley.
Clive Davis was always looking for talent and remembers very well when he heard her for the first time. He heard her sing 'the greatest love of all' in the night club; Sweetwater New York.
Cissy took her daughter to sing in backgrond vocals , and gave her solo moments.
Whitney signed her record deal with Clive at Arista Records on 10th of April 1984.
Her debute album was released in 1985.
The debute album; Whitney Houston sold 22 million copies. Her debut album was the best selling of all time.
In 1986 she made her 2nd album.
And came out with the mega hit

Whitney is a star.
Celebrities like Michael Jackson are her friends now.
And love is in the air.
Whitney falls in love with bad boy Bobby Brown.
Third album im your baby tonight was recorded 1990/1991.
A historic moment was that Whitney was singing at the starspangled banner on national enthem American superbowl.
At the time her talent was a fact and she was seen by thousands and thousands of people.
All her talents came togther ten Kevin Koster called Whitney to join him in the movie. The movie was called The Bodyguard beside the succes of the movie, the soundtrack became the best selling movie soundtrack of all time.

Whitney received a lot of awards and prizes.
A pregnancy completed her world.
Beautiful baby Bobbi Kristina was born in March 4th 1993
In 1994 her The bodyguard tour ended in South Africa.

In 1995 Whitney shooted here second movie: Waiting to exhale.
Then followed by a third movie in 1996 with Danzel Washington: The preachers wife.
During this period her marriage was extensively in the news.
Bobby was misbehaving and a lot of bad news comes out in the media.
In 1997 Whitney makes another movie together with Disney, young Brandy played Cinderella.

Like Wyclef Jean and Missy Elliott followed by a world tour.

At the Michael Jackson tribute Whitney is back on stage, she looks thin and unhealthy. And the tv intervieuw with Diana Sawyer makes everything worse.
Drug use is showing and the public is hard on Whitney.
The tv show ,,Being Bobby Brown'' is a mess and Boobby and Whitney are they become a slapstick.
Outside the spotlights, Whitney is working hard on herself to recover.
In 2009 Clive Davis supports Whitney for a comeback. Also an interview with Oprah.
The album ,,i look to you'' and the nothing but love world tour made Whitney a star again.
The struggle shows and fans are walking away from the shows.
The movie Sparkle will be het last project in 2012.
Whitney died a mysterios death on 11 Februari 2012 in the Beverly Hilton Hotel L.A.
